To teach a man who has started ignoring you a lesson, don’t beg him: do these two things.

 

The real lesson is not getting him to repent

While it may be tempting to think about how to make someone “learn a lesson,” there is a much more powerful response than any strategy of indifference.

Don’t chase after someone who constantly forces you to chase them. You can   communicate clearly, give them space, and observe what happens next. If there’s genuine interest, there will be reciprocity.

And if it disappears as soon as you stop maintaining all   communication, you have probably obtained much more valuable information than any explanation.

Because setting boundaries isn’t about punishing another person: it’s about deciding what kind of behavior you’re willing to accept in your relationships.
